Crusoe is a Denver-headquartered AI infrastructure company that builds AI data centers and runs its own GPU cloud. It was founded in 2018 to turn wasted natural gas into power for computing and describes its approach as energy-first. It is developing the 1.2 GW Stargate campus in Abilene, Texas, with Oracle for OpenAI.
Crusoe develops AI data center campuses and sells compute through Crusoe Cloud, which offers NVIDIA GB200 and B200 and AMD MI355X and MI300X GPUs, along with storage, networking, managed inference and fine-tuning. Its Crusoe Spark modular data centers now include a liquid-cooled version for dense GPUs.

Its flagship Abilene, Texas campus is planned for 1.2 GW and serves Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as part of the Stargate initiative. Crusoe has also announced a 1.0 GW campus in Childress, Texas, and runs cloud capacity in Iceland at atNorth's ICE02 site.

Crusoe's 2025 Impact Report states that 100% of its purchased electricity (116,100 MWh) was matched with renewable instruments such as PPAs and certificates. It gives a design annualized PUE of 1.2–1.4 and a tightened target of 1.1–1.25. We found no Crusoe entry in the SBTi dashboard (checked October 16, 2026).

Crusoe fits buyers who want large GPU capacity with documented energy sourcing. Certificate-based renewable matching differs from on-site clean power, so buyers should check each site.
